Greetings! Words can’t even begin to express how humbled and excited I am to be the new Chief School Administrator of the Lower Alloways Creek School District.
Many think Administrators just sit around during the summer. If you don’t mind me speaking on behalf of all Superintendents in the land, I can assure you that this is the very last thing we all do 🙂 .
I wanted to share with you some updates that are occurring here at LAC during the recess. We have a very aggressive facilities upgrade this summer. Plans include new sections of the roof, new exterior doors, an upgrade for the library, an entire new security system with a new, secure foyer entrance, and a wireless and technology plan upgrade that includes purchasing 50 iPads and over 100 chromebooks. LAC School will have a Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) policy in effect, along with a 1:1 goal by the 2014-15 school year.
Here are some pictures of our upgrades thus far. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions!

Our Foyer being gutted…..
New paint and new carpet in our library!
The future home of a new library reading / lesson / study area!
A freshly painted and carpeted office. The last time this was done? Around 1975.
Hard to see, but roofing equipment is on the roof, ready to go. We’re waiting for a dry day to begin!
Get ready to rock, LAC. It’s a whole new time. LAC is growing. LAC will be learning. LAC is moving onward.
